As this is the first blog for MAP, I will walk you through the process of hiring a machine and what happens when you first make an order.
The phone call
It all starts with a phone call to our office in Leicester, where you will speak to one of our hire desk controllers, hear you may already know what machine type you want but in case you don't our team will help you get the right machine for the application you need, but if all else fails we can organise our hire and sales rep to come and do a site survey free of charge. once the machine has been chose an application form has to be filled out.
Pre Delivery Inspection
once that machine has been ordered and a date of delivery has been set the machine will be inspected to make sure it works and is safe for the hire (PDI), if the machine needs a LOLER, that will be completed before the machine leaves the yard in Leicester. Along with any maintenance that the machine needs.
Machines are then loaded on the back of the lorry's and and strapped down onto the bed safely, the driver will then call the customer and organise exactly where the machine is going and to make sure that everything is okay with the hire.
Delivery And Collection
the machine will be delivered at the time you required and location requested. Then then machine is then yours ready to use. what ever work you need the machine for weather it is construction, installation and maintenance tasks such as electrical fixtures and cabling, ductwork, drywall, ceiling panels, overhead sprinklers. Once you are finished with the machine just call the deport in Leicester and off hire the machine, we will then come and collect it.
